Exploring the process of making and fluidity, Expansion and Contraction was made to help me break out of rigid barriers that add pressure to the practice of making art. With a central theme of my relationship with my inner child, this work reflects on some of the feelings and behaviors that prevented me from reaching that inner child and healing.
